Virtual Family Day: Making Home

Join us for our free monthly event for families, kids, and the young at heart. On the second Sunday of every month, the museum is filled with hands-on art activities, live music, dance performances, artist demonstrations, family tours and more — all inspired by Mia’s incredible collection.
Joining us for a virtual Family Day! Inspired by the special exhibit “<a href="https://new.artsmia.org/when-home-wont-let-you-stay-art-and-migration/">When Home Won’t Let You Stay: Art and Migration</a>”, this month we’re asking: What is a home? And how do you make one? Learn more about the local artist collective CarryOn Homes and their installation in the special exhibit, listen to melodies from Latin America from the local choir BorderCrosSing, and be inspired to create art that tells your story of home!
