Film: Clueless (20th Anniversary Screening)

Could Jane Austen ever have imagined that her novel Emma would be turned into a satirical look at ultra-rich teenagers in a Beverly Hills high school 200 years later?  “As if.”  Don’t miss this special 20th-anniversary screening of the beloved modern classic Clueless.

Join us at 6 p.m. for a talk with Gina King, curator of the Jane Austen Reading Room at Mia. King will screen her short documentary on the Jane Austen Society of North America, which provides a window into the world of Jane Austen experts and super-fans. Refreshments served afterwards in the Regis Fountain Court.

Tickets are free, but advance reservation is recommended.
