Transformational Creative Strategies Training (TRCSTR)

Transformational Creative Strategies Training (TRCSTR) is a 6-month arts and organizing training, rooted in emergent strategy, community projects and relationships. It is a program within the Art of Radical Collaboration (ARC) partnership between Hope Community and the Minneapolis Institute of Art, closed its pilot year, on October 31st, 2020. Instead of an in-person gathering, because of the spike of COVID cases in MN, TRCSTR Project Leads opted for delivering gifts and recognition certificates to the TRCSTR Cohort and Advisors who have been participating in the program.

Throughout TRCSTR, we were able to meet with program participants virtually and in-person at a few socially distant outdoor workshops. Interactive virtual and in-person sessions were led by project leads and advisors on topics ranging from the Artist Right Now, Healing Justice to Community Relationships. Cohort members, advisors and project leads brought an array of community connections and experiences that have inherently enriched this program. TRCSTR has been a space for participants to grow and build relationships during an unprecedented time in history, the global pandemic and the Minneapolis uprising in June and the movements to follow.
