See Impressionism in a new light and meet the women artists who changed the landscape of modern painting. “Women Impressionists and the Land” brings together around 70 paintings, drawings, prints, and decorative arts by Berthe Morisot, Mary Cassatt, Marie Bracquemond, Blanche Hoschedé-Monet, and others.

Moving beyond the domestic subjects for which many of these artists are best known, this exhibition explores forests, waterways, farms, gardens, and parks as places of experimentation, independence, and discovery. Featuring works from Mia, the Musée d’Orsay, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and other public and private collections, this exhibition reveals a fresh side of Impressionism.

“Women Impressionists and the Land” is organized by the Saint Louis Art Museum.
