Virtual Public Book Tours

Virtual tours, facilitated by Mia guides, will relate works of art to popular books. A new book will be presented each month. Tours are free, but registration is required. Virtual tours take place via Zoom.  Click here to view upcoming book selections and tour times. While the tours are free, we extend a pay-what-you-wish donation opportunity.

Virtual Private Book Club Tours

All guided private virtual book tours are in a virtual format from January to March 2022. We intend to offer in-person tours beginning in April. We will update the Tour Request Form when we are able to accept in-person tour requests.

How do I request a virtual tour?

PRequest a private virtual tour for January to March 2022. Tour requests for April 2022 and beyond are not available at this time.

When do virtual public book tours happen?

 
Virtual public book tours take place at 1:00 pm on the third Tuesday of the month and at 6:30 pm on the fourth Thursday of the month. Register for a public book tour here.

What happens on the day of my tour?

 
Tours will start at the appointed time. You will be admitted from the virtual waiting room at the start time.

Do I need to do anything after my tour?

 
To help us gauge the effectiveness of our new virtual tours, we will follow your tour with an evaluation survey and a pay-as-you-wish donation request. We ask the group leader to forward the survey and donation request to those who attended the tour. Your feedback is very important to us as we are committed to refining virtual tours as we learn from our visitors.

What if I need to cancel my virtual tour?

 
If you need to cancel your tour, email tours@artsmia.org as soon as possible so we may extend the opportunity to another group.
