Museum Hours

These are the hours Mia is open during Art in Bloom:

  • Thursday, April 23: 10 a.m.–9 p.m.
  • Friday, April 24: 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 25: 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 26: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Note: The special exhibition “Modern Art and Politics in Germany 1910–1945: Masterworks from the Neue Nationalgalerie, Berlin” closes daily at 5 p.m.

Transportation Details

Look at road closures and highway construction near Mia before planning your visit to allocate an appropriate amount of travel time.
We expect our parking lots and ramp will fill up early. We strongly suggest ride sharing or using public transportation.

Daily Parking Rates

Mia parking facilities will be converted to event parking mode:

  • Ramp: $25 per car/all day
  • Surface: $20 per car/all day
  • Credit card only

Valet is available for $30 ($5 with a disability permit) as follows:

  • Thursday, April 23: 9:30 a.m.–9 p.m.
  • Friday, April 24: 9:30 a.m.–7 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 25: 9:30 a.m.–7 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 26: 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m.

Payment for valet is credit card only at the curb. Valeted cars will be parked in the 24th Street and 3rd Avenue lower lot.

Coat Check

Mia provides self-serve coat check, available on a first come, first served basis.

Public Tours

Chat with one of our stationed guides to learn about the artworks that inspired our pedestal floral artists. Our guides are wearing orange lanyards for visibility.

Thursday Stationed Guides Hours:

  • 10 a.m.–noon
  • Noon–2 p.m.
  • 5 p.m.–9 p.m.

Friday–Saturday Stationed Guides Hours:

  • 10 a.m.–noon
  • Noon–2 p.m.
  • 5 p.m.–7 p.m.

Sunday Stationed Guides Hours:

  • 10 a.m.–noon
  • 3 p.m.–5 p.m.

Mia offers free tours during Art in Bloom. All tours begin in the Rotunda; no registration required.

  • 2:15 p.m.
